Jill Newman

Jill is passionate about the power of music and song to bring life, joy, hope and healing throughout all the ages and stages of life; the power of music to embed and re-awaken memories in children and adults; the power of music to bring people together; the power of music to make a difference to life.

Jill is a musician and composer. She gained a BEd (Hons) Music degree at Middlesex University, London and has worked in primary schools as a music specialist and class teacher and for the ILEA as an accompanist. Over many years, Jill has been involved in bringing music and song to children and adults in a variety of settings; toddler groups, pre-schools, schools, churches, care homes and for special celebrations. Currently she teaches piano and plays at Madley Park Care Home, Cogges Church and the Churchill Hospital in Oxford.

Jill lives in Oxfordshire with her husband. She loves spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis and visiting Down Under, the country of her birth.
